April 2011 fishing report

Mr Ian Powers of Lewes catches a 10lb 6.5oz rainbow on a Green & White Sparkly Cats Whisker using a floating line with a 4m leader

Excellent fishing with well with over 1400 fish having been taken in the past month with over 85% of anglers reaching their bag limit. Dozen brown trout now being stocked weekly along with larger rainbows.

Recent rainbow catches include a 10lb 6oz by Ian Powers from Lewes on a Green & White Sparkly Cats Whisker using a floating line with a 4 meter leader, a 6lb 1oz by John Ward from Seaford on a Green & White, a 4lb 14oz by John Beard from Seaford on a Cats Whisker, a 4lb 2oz by Arthur Rose from Rochester and a 4lb 1oz by B Wood from Eastbourne on a Tadpole.
