Read MoreDespite the changeable weather recently Brick Farm Lakes continues to offer excellent fishing from both lakes, with water levels high and fish feeding enthusiastically. Catch rates went down a little when the weather was warm which is to be expected, but are now picking up quickly following the recent rainfall.

Read MoreBrick Farm Lakes Senior Troutmasters 2011/12 fish-off final was won by Peter Winder from Hove catching his 4 fish in 29 minutes and weighing in at 8lb 10oz. This is the third year in a row Peter has won this competition and he is looking forward to improving on the commendable 16th place in last years National Troutmasters final at Gratham Water.

Read MoreA new year brings a new lake as work starts on a third lake at Brick Farm, should be ready for next winter. Conditions continue to be good with catch rates around 90%. Flies working include Cats Whiskers, Damsels, Blobs and Montanas.
With Autumn refusing to let Winter in, conditions have been great for fishing over the past month with catch rates over 90%. The track down to the lodge and lakes has been resurfaced making for a much smoother drive and Well Lake has been much cleared of weed and reeds.
